1. Definitions

  • Customer / User – A person who uses the Zipkart app to order products or services.

  • Vendors / Partners – Restaurants, grocery stores, meat shops, cloud kitchens, or any seller listed on Zipkart.

  • Delivery Partner – A person assigned by Zipkart or partners to deliver orders.

  • Platform – The Zipkart mobile application and website.


2. Service Description

Zipkart is a multi-vendor delivery platform that allows users to:

  • Order food, groceries, vegetables, meat, and daily items

  • Connect with restaurants and stores

  • Track delivery in real-time

  • Make online & offline payments

Zipkart itself does not manufacture or prepare food/items, except in its own cloud kitchen operations.


3. Account Creation

By creating an account, you agree:

  • To provide accurate personal details

  • Not to share your login credentials

  • To be responsible for all activity under your account

  • You are at least 18 years old

Zipkart may suspend or terminate accounts found to be fraudulent or violating policies.


4. Pricing & Payments

  • Prices displayed are set by vendors, not Zipkart (except cloud kitchen items).

  • Taxes, delivery charges, packaging charges, and service fees may apply.

  • Payments can be made via UPI, Cards, Wallets, or Cash on Delivery (COD).

  • For COD orders, refusal at delivery may lead to temporary or permanent COD suspension.


5. Order Acceptance & Cancellation

An order may be cancelled by:

  • The customer (within allowed time)

  • The store/vendor

  • Zipkart (technical or operational issues)

Zipkart reserves the right to cancel any order due to:

  • Unavailability of items

  • High demand

  • Incorrect pricing

  • Vendor closure

  • No delivery partner available

A refund will be issued if payment was already made.


6. Refund & Replacement Policy

Refunds may be approved for:

  • Wrong item delivered

  • Missing items

  • Damaged or spoiled items

  • Payment failure

  • Auto-cancelled orders

  • Delayed delivery (case-specific)

Refund modes:

  • UPI / Bank transfer

  • Wallet refund

  • Credit to original payment method

Refund processing time: 2–7 business days.

Zipkart may request:

  • Photo/video proof

  • Order packaging image

  • Delivery confirmation evidence


7. Delivery Policy

  • Delivery time shown is an estimate, not a guarantee.

  • Delivery may be affected by traffic, weather, or store delays.

  • Customer must be available to receive the order.

  • Delivery partner may contact you for directions or confirmation.

Orders may be marked Delivered if:

  • The delivery partner waited and user was unreachable

  • The customer provided incorrect address

  • The user refused the order without valid reason


8. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors listed on Zipkart must:

  • Provide correct menu, prices, and availability

  • Maintain hygiene and quality

  • Prepare orders on time

  • Pack items securely

Zipkart is not responsible for:

  • Food taste, texture, or presentation

  • Vendor hygiene or preparation methods

  • Wrong information provided by vendors


9. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Abuse, harass, or misbehave with delivery partners

  • Make fake or fraudulent orders

  • Misuse discount coupons

  • Provide false complaints

Zipkart may take action including:

  • Account ban

  • COD restriction

  • Legal action for damages


10. Offers, Coupons & Discounts

  • Offers may change anytime without notice.

  • Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Zipkart can cancel orders if coupons are misused.


11. Content & Intellectual Property

All logos, images, text, and content on Zipkart belong to Zipkart and cannot be copied or used without permission.


12. Limitation of Liability

Zipkart is not liable for:

  • Food quality or preparation

  • Vendor delays

  • Allergic reactions

  • Loss of data

  • Service interruption

  • Third-party actions (vendors, delivery partners, payment gateways)

Maximum liability is limited to the order value paid by the customer.


13. Privacy Policy

Zipkart collects user information to improve service quality.
We do not sell or share personal data with unauthorized third parties.


14. Changes to Terms

Zipkart may update these Terms anytime.
Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.
